• Remembrance Mass Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage: A Remembrance Mass is set for Friday 20th November at 7.00 PM at Our Blessed Lady Immaculate, Washington. It is open to everyone, and special memory candles can be purchased for £3.00 each by contacting the Lourdes office.

• An Interesting Anniversary: Wednesday 30th September 2026 marked 67 years since the parish affiliated to the Guild of Saint Stephen. An article with more about the Guild will appear on the website soon.

• Light a Virtual Candle: Visit the Prayer Wall on the parish website to post your intentions and pray with the rest of the parish.

• Friendship Group: The recent Macmillan Coffee Morning raised £750. The group meets every first Tuesday in the Medway at 6.30 PM, and everyone is welcome.

• Little Joe's Babies & Toddlers Playgroup: Sessions run every Friday from 9.00 AM to 10.30 AM in St Joseph's school hall. All families are welcome.

• School Appeal Panel Member Recruitment: The Diocesan Department for Education is seeking volunteers to be School Appeal Panel Members. Contact education@diocesehn.org.uk or 0191 243 3313 for more information.

• Parish Walsingham Pilgrimage 2027: The pilgrimage will run from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd August 2027. Secure a place with a £50 deposit per pilgrim given to Callum or Caroline, or via bank transfer.

• Mass Schedule Updates: Register on the website for emails about last-minute changes to Mass, urgent news, and general parish updates.

• Adding Something to the Bulletin: Submissions can now be made from the website. You only need to provide a landline or mobile number in case contact is needed.

• Acutis Young People: A new group is starting for young adults aged 18 to 35 to meet other Catholics around the same age, make friends, and feel more at home in the parish. Register via the QR code.
