Selection of prayers for daily use

1.

Hail holy Queen, Mother of mercy,

Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope.

To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.

To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this vale of tears

Turn then most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us

And after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

O Jesus our great High Priest, may all the love and help and

Merciful compassion of thy Sacred Heart be with thy priests in

Their life and work, especially in the sacred ministry of the altar.

And grant to thy priests who have departed this life rest and reward of their labours for the salvation of souls.

3.

May the precious blood of Jesus our love, cry out to the Divine Father for

Mercy, pardon grace and peace upon us and upon all the world.

4.

Heal thy servant O Lord that are sick and put their trust in thee

Send them help O Lord and comfort from thy holy place.

5. 

May Mary our Mother and our hope pray to God for us, our families, our parishioners and all who are in need.

6. 

O God creator and redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of thy servants departed the remission of all their sins

That through our pious supplication they may obtain that pardon they have always desired.

Act of contrition- O my God because you are so good I am very sorry that I have sinned against you and by the help of your grace I will try not to sin again.

8. 

Lord may your blessing come upon all who work so hard for peace and justice in their communities and in our world. Gove them courage; make them brave; comfort and strengthen them.

9. 

O my good angel whom God has appointed to be my guardian, enlighten and protect, direct and govern me this day(night)

10. 

My beloved God, I love you with all my heart and soul and desire to love you as the blessed do in heaven. I adore all the plans of your Providence, resigning myself entirely to you will.

11.

Visit, we beseech, you O Lord, my home and family; drive far from it all the snares of the enemy; let your holy angels dwell herein, who may keep us in peace and let your blessing be always upon us. Through Christ our Lord.
