Altar Servers

Becoming an altar server is a brilliant way for young people to get involved in the parish. It gives them a front-row seat to the Mass and a real role in the celebration.

Servers assist Fr Adrian directly. This includes carrying the cross and candles, as well as helping prepare the altar. It is a hands-on way to learn about the faith and understand exactly what is happening during the service.

It is also a great way to make friends and feel part of the team.

Our servers are part of the Guild of St Stephen. This is an international organisation founded in 1904 to support servers and encourage high standards at the altar.
