Key Notices

• Christmas Celebrations: Thank you to all those who made our Christmas celebrations so wonderful. Both Holy Rosary and St. John’s look stunning. Grateful thanks to all of those who cleaned, decorated, and erected the Christmas Trees and Cribs. Father Adrian would like to thank everyone for the many kind gifts, cards, and good wishes.

• New Year’s Day: Falls on Thursday. There will be a Mass at 7:00 PM on Wednesday evening and at 10:00 AM on Thursday. It is a wonderful way to start the New Year.

• Feast of Saint Thomas Becket: Monday is the Feast of our Parish Patron Saint. Please come along to Mass at 10:00 AM to celebrate and pray for our parish family.

• Christmas Games: "Top Scorers" lists have been updated.

• Virtual Prayer Wall: "Your Light Will Rise in the Darkness" – Please join us online to light a virtual candle. A beautiful prayer was recently posted in Chinese characters which translates to: "Merciful God, I pray You grant my deceased father eternal rest..."

• SVP: The crib collection this Christmas will be for SVP infant feeding stations in Sudan.

• Audrey Johnson: Many joined Audrey in the Medway on Dec 11th to celebrate her 100th birthday! Visit the website for her story and two amazing facts.

• All Our Yesterdays: Do you have photos, videos, or memories to add? Help us preserve our history for future generations by speaking with Fr Adrian.

• Holy Island SVP Vinnies Camps: Volunteering applications for Summer 2026 are now open. We are looking for volunteers with high energy and patience for the camps, as well as kitchen and caretaking support.

• Parish Pilgrimage to Walsingham: Planned for Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August 2026. Please contact Callum Walker to register or indicate room requirements. A meeting will be held in early January to take deposits.

• Neurodiversity and our Faith: The Catholic Bishops and Birmingham Newman University are conducting a survey to better understand Neurodiversity and Faith.
