Congratulations to the Staff and Pupils of St Paul's Primary School: The school recently had its Catholic Schools Inspection, and the report had high praise for this wonderful school. It described St Paul's as a strong Catholic community where pupils and staff actively celebrate and promote the school's mission, with a positive, welcoming atmosphere in which every child is nurtured and encouraged. The report also recognised the great work of the teachers and support staff, noting their high expectations and their dedication to religious education. We are blessed with dedicated and committed staff and teachers in all our Catholic Schools here in Billingham; our thanks to them all.

Corpus Christi – Eucharistic Procession with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at Ushaw: Sunday 7th June, starting at 3.00 PM in St Cuthbert's Chapel. Weather permitting, the procession will go through Ushaw's gardens, returning to the Chapel for Benediction. Teas and coffees will be available after the service. Please sign the list at the back of church if you would like to go. A coach will be leaving from Holy Rosary (time to be confirmed) to take parishioners; if you intend to take your car, please add your name to the list but indicate that you are travelling by your own transport, to help Ushaw estimate numbers and manage car parking. There is a list in the Sacristy for servers who are coming along to sign.
Lucy and Ollie's Danceathon – Thank You: Many of you will remember Lucy Drummond speaking at Mass last Sunday about her fundraising for Tourette's Action UK. She and her brother Ollie have now completed their 12-hour Danceathon. If you would like to show your support, there are still ways to donate: the retiring collection this weekend at Mass (Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May), or scan the QR code on the poster in church or visit the parish website.
Music Matters – A Day of Reflection for Musicians: Ushaw College, Saturday 27th June 2026, 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM. A time to reflect on the liturgy and the role of music within it, how we sing the Mass and how we prepare for our service, and a chance to meet other musicians from the Diocese. There is a £7.50 charge for the day, which the parish will pay, so please sign the list at the back of the church so we know how many are going.
Little Joe's Babies & Toddlers Playgroup: The playgroup runs on Fridays from 9.00 – 10.30 AM at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School. Families from our community are welcome. For more information, contact the school office on 01642 560056.
