Key Notices
First Holy Communion Programme: The programme for children in Year 4 and above will begin soon. Children who attend a parish school will be invited to a meeting in their own school. If you know a child at a non-Catholic school who would like to receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, please invite the parents to contact Fr Adrian.
RCIA Group: For anyone looking into becoming a member of the Catholic Church, the programme begins on Wednesday 16th September after the Evening Mass. Please invite anyone who would like to know more.
Baptismal Preparation Meetings: The next meetings take place on Thursday 1st October and Thursday 12th November in the Medway Hall at 6.30 PM.
Tea, Coffee and a Chat: Join fellow parishioners in the Medway on Thursdays at 11.00 AM for tea, coffee, biscuits and conversation. All are welcome.
Friendship Group: The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month in the Medway at 6.30 PM, and everyone is welcome.
Friendship Group Macmillan Coffee Morning: Taking place in the Medway on Thursday 24th September from 10.30 AM to 2.00 PM to raise funds. Tombola prizes are gratefully received and can be left at the back of the church.
St Joseph's Macmillan Coffee Morning: The primary school invites all parishioners to join them on Thursday 24th September from 9.00 AM to 10.30 AM in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Little Joe's Babies & Toddlers Playgroup: Sessions run each Friday from 9.00 AM to 10.30 AM in the St Joseph's school hall, having restarted on Friday 11th September. All families are welcome.
Foundation Governor Opportunity: St Joseph's Catholic Primary School is looking for parishioners interested in becoming a Foundation Governor to support the school and uphold its Catholic ethos. Those interested should contact the school office and speak to Mrs Birrell.
Acutis Young People: A new group for young Catholic adults aged 18 to 35, to make friends and feel more at home in the parish. The longer aim is to shape it around what members want, such as social evenings, regular meet-ups, helping at parish events, and activities in the wider community. Registration is available via the QR code, and there is no commitment beyond turning up when you can.
All Our Yesterdays: Fr Adrian would welcome photos, videos or memories of parish life. Please send your name and a contact detail with anything you submit.
Adding Something to the Bulletin: You can now submit items from the parish website. You only need a landline or mobile number rather than an email address.
